Visitors to the Labelexpo will be able to personally experience the newest innovations relating to the theurer.com C3 ERP/MIS Software. This year, theurer.com is introducing its newly developed production terminals with roll visualization, a joint White Paper with Esko for the Esko Automation Engine and an easy way of integrating label estimation into your own website.

Production terminals for perfect roll handling

Following the sound principle of continuous optimization, theurer.com C3 is now introducing intuitive production terminals with roll visualization into the market. This will help to greatly simplify the registration, tracking and logistic labeling of finished and semi-finished products based on single rolls, batches and pallets. The production terminals can be configured for special hardware that is always optimized with special functions, e.g., for touch-screens or portable forklift terminals. In conjunction with the electronic machine counters, the software enables automatic recording of production times and quantities, and ensures precise identification and tracking of material usage and the quantities of material as well as the rolls and batches used. Manufacturers of roll labels and flexible packaging can thus effortlessly fulfil even the most complex requirements of its customers in terms of traceability and logistics labeling, e.g., in accordance with GS1.

Joint “White Paper” with Esko for integration projects

In a joint effort with Esko, theurer.com has developed a “White Paper” for integration projects using the Esko Automation Engine. The White Paper is available immediately. It describes the “Best Practice” processes for a successful integration from both sides. These processes have been implemented in a standardized and immediately usable interface and can be expanded to meet individual, project-specific requirements. The efficiency of new orders or re-runs with changes can be greatly increased through the automated cooperation between administration and prepress, which also reduces expenses. Joint integration projects are greatly simplified by the “White Paper” and lead more quickly to higher profitability.

Label estimation as a “widget” on your website

The online estimation of theurer.com C3 for labels and flexible packaging can now be easily integrated into an existing website as a “widget” and is thus ideal for entry-level web-to-print. The estimation could be the beginning of a fully automated end-to-end workflow solution with C3, or it could be operated separately as an initial step.
